Pricing questions
How are credits counted?
One credit covers one standard page - 1 credit ≈ 1 A4 page. A typical monthly bank statement is only a few pages, so a small allowance goes a long way. Two things cost more than one credit per sheet. Oversized paper (A3, tabloid) holds about twice the content of an A4 page and is billed as the A4 pages it would print to, and so are mobile-app exports that render a whole statement as one very long page. Separately, a small number of documents are far more expensive for us to read than their size suggests - dense scans, or unusual layouts that need several passes - and those are billed closer to what they actually cost, capped so a charge can never run away from the page count.
What if a document turns out to have no transactions?
It still uses credits. By the time we know a document holds no transactions, we've already read the whole thing, and that processing is the cost. If you believe a document does contain transactions and we missed them, report it from the activity list - we'll refund the credits and look at why we couldn't read it.
What happens if I go over my monthly credits?
Paid-plan credits reset at the start of each billing cycle. If you hit your limit, you can buy a top-up pack of 250 credits for $10 that rolls over for 6 months, or upgrade to a higher plan - every plan includes the same full feature set.
Is API access available on the free plan?
Yes. API keys, the v1 API, and webhooks are all available on every plan, including free - usage is metered by your credit balance just like in-app uploads.
Do you offer a discount for annual billing?
Yes. Paying yearly saves roughly 17% compared to paying month to month. You can switch between monthly and yearly billing at any time.
Can I change or cancel my plan anytime?
Yes. There are no long-term contracts. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel whenever you want and keep access until the end of your billing period.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. BankFlow's free plan includes 50 free credits (1 credit ≈ 1 page) with no credit card required, so you can try the full workflow on your own statements before paying. Free credits are one-time per account and don't reset monthly.
