Questions before switching
Is Bankflow a Bank2QBO alternative?
Yes. Bank2QBO is now part of ProperSoft's ProperConvert app, and both it and Bankflow turn bank statements into QBO files for QuickBooks. ProperConvert runs on your desktop and reads more file types; Bankflow runs in the browser and adds categorization and cash-flow analysis.
What happened to Bank2QBO?
ProperSoft folded it into ProperConvert, which converts from and to more formats than Bank2QBO did. ProperSoft's update notes mention support for legacy Bank2QBO licenses.
Can Bankflow convert QFX or QIF files?
No. Bankflow reads PDF, CSV, Excel, and JSON statements. If you need to turn an existing QFX or QIF into a QBO, ProperConvert does that.
Does Bankflow work offline?
No. Bankflow is a web app, and statements are processed on its servers rather than on your computer. If files must stay on one machine, a desktop converter is the better fit.
